Jose Elias is a Grammy-nominated guitarist and Cuban Tres player. Over the span of 28 years, he has performed in five continents and produced a variety of musical projects, from festivals to studio recordings. His career is highlighted by his work with Conjunto Progreso noted by many as the “Buena Vista Social Club of the U.S.A”. He has performed with Eliades Ochoa, Arturo Sandoval, and now runs a traditional Cuban Son group Cortadito, and the early Caribbean music project Antilles Music Ensemble. Furthermore, he continues to work with Miami’s Latin fusion group the Spam Allstars.
